Although the tour took us to many picturesque places, there were none so visually stunning as Asbury Park, N.J. This town was a bit of a ghost town 30 years ago, then was completely abandoned after race riots. In Canada race riots occur when the Tragically Hip play at Calgary's "Race City Speedway." Amazingly people still come to see rock shows here, and Bruce Springsteen used to perform here often at the "Stone Pony".
