In order to save a little cash, we often drive to the next town after a show. We'll get to a hotel at 11 am after an all night drive and ask the friendly hotel staff if we can check in early. We sleep all day, then go to the show, return afterwards for more sleep. We then phone the lobby to inform them we came in a bit late, and if we could please have an extended check-out. At 1 pm then next day we'll get a wake up call. We begin showering then, do our laundry, watch CHIPS, score a danish at the continental breakfast, and vacate the room by 3pm. Or at least, Mike, Mark and Dave do. At this point KJ likes to shave and brush his teeth. The manager of the hotel usually doesn't appreciate our concern for being well rested and clean cut. We once had the hotel staff phone the room and ask where our parents were, while we were watching the Rolling Stones press conference at 2.30 pm.
