When we first heard about the Pantyhose Junction, we giggled a little, shuffled our feet, and Jason was even seen to blush. Rumour had it the waitresses here wore short skirts. One trip down to california we happened across this exotic sounding restaurant, and felt obliged to purchase some shot glasses for Mark and a coffee mug for KJ there. The waitresses wore short skirts alright, and they were all still the original waitresses hired in 1972. We were relieved to see that what had seemed like a rather uncivilized concept at first, turned out to be a first rate family restaurant. The service was courteous, efficient and mature.
Later that trip we stopped in New York. Having the opportunity to park our van in a secure lot at Fordham University in the Bronx, we enjoyed the freedom of cabbing around the Big Apple without having to leave 2 people in the parking lot to watch the van. One stop we made was K&L Rock America, where Mujibar and Sirajul work, when they're not on David Letterman. If Mujibar here looks a littlle annoyed, that's probably because Mike knocked over a jar of pencils right before Kevin took this picture of us. Don't worry, Mike bought one of the pencils to appease the staff of the store.
