This picture was taken by Chris Freeman, from Pansy Division, about two years ago in San Francisco during an enormous rain storm. Too polite to turn down the kind offer of a guided tour of the Bay Area during the area's worst weather in decades, all the members of Chixdiggit caught horrible colds shortly thereafter, and Mark even got chicken pox. The Diagnosis at a California hospital was: "Yep, Chicken Pox," for which Mark was consequently billed US$ 175 (or 400 Canadian.) This is Chixdiggit with Tom Decker, a notorious soundguy from the San Francisco area. Upon playing at the Bottom of the Hill club, members of Chixdiggit were greeted with a gruff sounding "Gimmee that amp!" Not sure if they were being mugged, the Chix put up a short fight, after which they realized the assailant meant no harm. Tom joined the band on the patio of the club and earned a tee shirt with the following statement he made to the extremely patient waitress on shift. "I'd like to bite your ass, develop lock jaw and have you drag me to death." Although the individual members of Chixdiggit do not condone the use of such laguage to a lady, the words provided the Chix with an insight into the human Psyche they had never previously encountered.
