Here we have Dave Alcock in location for the Chupa Cabra video shoot. We decided that from now on we will never go out again without Brian Callaghan, this great make-up artist, because he made us all look like we have never been on tour. |

In the background the crew is preparing the parachute stunts, and the harness Mike will be wearing as he gets dragged behind this plane over the valleys of Calgary. |

On the road to Victoria on December 12, 1997. As you may have read in our news section, Jason Hirsch rejoined the band for a short weekend trip because Dave was recording a band in Calgary. We realized that we had missed Jason a lot, even his "oaoahh, 3 more days..." comments every five minutes. When we got to Sicamous, BC we were held up for an hour so that the BC road crews could widen our two lane national highway by a few feet. Sicamous is approximately 2 hours east of the famous Coquihalla Highway. |
| In Victoria we had the pleasure of watching Andrew Molloy play with his new band "Power Failure". Andrew used to be in a band called BUM , along with Rob Nesbitt. Bum became famous in Spain, and much of what keeps Chixdiggit going is the dream to one day be stars like Andrew and Rob. In this photo you can see the two stars on stage with KJ, performing "Song for 'R'". This is the first time Rob and Andrew have been on stage together since Bum broke up about 3 years ago. It may also have been the first time that the song was performed properly. |

The Whistler shows were a blast, KJ and Mike went boarding with some new friends, and we were sure to sit down frequently so that folks on the hill could recognize that our gear came courtesy of SIMS. Après-Boarding we sat in the hot tub and admired the generosity with which the Germans showed us all their inner sanctums. Off to the lounge to have drinks by the fireplace. KJ and Mike are modelling their bathrobes here, unintentionally making Cheryl (former subpop, capricorn, now almo record person) rather uncomfortable. |
| Jason and Mike are hamming it up with Steve van Doren, heir to the Vans™ fortune. Speaking of making people uncomfortable, it looks like Mr. van Doren is suffering from having his personal space invaded by a rather wet, hot tub scented Mike. |

Little did we realize at this point in time, that the abundance of "sick-pow-face" on the hill also should have acted as an indicator of the less than desirable travelling conditions. The perfect culmonation of 4 days of playing, drinking, boarding and hottubbing is a 23 hour drive home though a blizzard. But we did it for you! |
